Juice Box: Community-Building Events for QTBIPOC Kinksters
Juice Box is the newest community organizing group for QTBIPOC kinksters in NYC! After organizing sexy parties for members of the queer BDSM community for over 5 years, Oran Julius decided to create a new space just for QTBIPOC! Juice Box made its debut on Sunday, May 26, 2024 with a kinky play party in Brooklyn. More events to come!

Oran Julius (they/he), formerly known as Azalea Trix and Prince Poison, is a non-binary femmeboy, a scholar in human experience, and a creative dreamer. This alternative companion turns heads with their juicy curves, infectious laughter, and dazzling wit. A hairy babe who knows what they like, this powerful Dominant will bring you to the edge and back with a smile.
Micha Malvada (she/they) is a queer Chicanx based in New York City. Micha is a pro and lifestyle dominant, evil bitch, artist, and creative producer. They seek to inspire deviancy through their work in fetish and film by creating and documenting power dynamics, perverted fantasies, and demented sadomasochistic smut.

Length: 7-9pm, 2hrs
ABOUT
In this workshop, we will review reasons why people might want to play with metal chains, safety measures, and ideas for incorporating into scenes, before demonstrating techniques in a live demo. Following the demo, there will be time for questions before participants will be given time to practice some of the techniques they learned under supervision from Oran & Micha.
We will have a small amount of chains available to practice with, but we encourage folks to bring their own if they want to follow along with the demonstrations and practice.
Please bring your own bottom to practice on if you are able. You are welcome to come solo, but be prepared to practice on yourself or only listen & watch. We'll do our best to help facilitate pairing of folks who come alone, but we cannot guarantee anyone a bottom to practice on!
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
Participants will leave with knowledge about how to engage in play with metal chains from a risk-aware and consensual kink lens.
Specific takeaways will include:
- Safety measures for using chains,
- Recommended materials,
- Multiple techniques for incorporating into scenes, including bondage, sensory play, and insertion.
PRICE TRANSPARENCY
The full fee for this workshop is $40. The full fee reflects the true costs of running the event, including the venue and compensating facilitators for their labor. If you are able to afford a full price ticket without experiencing financial hardship, please choose this option.
Those who cannot afford a full fee ticket are welcome to pay what they can on the sliding scale of $15-$35.
Virtual tickets are $20.
ACCESSIBILITY
This workshop will be held in a venue with elevator access. Seating will be provided for all guests. HEPA filters will be running during the length of the workshop. There will also be a live streaming option for folks who would like to join virtually. Virtual tickets are $20.
COVID SAFETY
We recognize COVID-19 is still prevalent and provides risks to many folks, most significantly those with already marginalized identities.
To make this space more accessible, all attendees must show proof of a negative rapid COVID test taken the day of the workshop. We will also have HEPA air filters running. Masks are optional.
September 1st
Let's get WET at the nude beach! All queers welcome to join Juice Box for a day at the beach on September 1st. This is an event focused on building community amongst queer kinksters, but is not specifically a play event. Make friends, flirt with hotties, and support Juice Box so we can continue to offer events for QTBIPOC! While this is a free event open to all, we will be selling drink tickets and accepting donations to support Juice Box with creating future events for QTBIPOC (play parties, workshops, & community building spaces). Suggested donation: $25 If you're white and would like to attend, please know you are welcome, but we ask you to consider first how much space you're taking up, and how you are contributing to support QTBIPOC-Only spaces.
